The Senior Corporate Counsel consults with management on, and is responsible for, a broad range of corporate legal processes including: contracting, risk management, intellectual property, mergers & acquisitions, compliance issues, transactions, employment and labor issues, and litigation.
In this role, the selected candidate will meet the IP needs of the business by providing a full range of IP services and counseling to assigned business clients, and building and maintaining a portfolio of patents and other IP that advance the technical and commercial interests of the company.
In this role, you will carry out transactional activities as assigned including drafting and negotiation of joint development agreements, sponsored research agreements, license agreements, valuation agreements, and/or IP related supply agreements.
In this role, you will prepares and reviews contracts involving leases, licenses, purchases, sales, real estate and other matters. Studies legal decisions and proposed and existing statutes and regulations affecting the organization and advises affected departments.
