You will have broad knowledge about statistics, machine learning, optimization theory, user behavior profiling, experimental design etc.
The individual being sought should have broad training in molecular biology, tissue culture and cancer biology. Specific expertise in CRISPR/Cas or TALEN technology to knock down specific genes of interest is important.
Assist in the development of new dental restorative materials. The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-functional team to help develop material formulations and conduct numerous tests on various material classes.
Lead multifunctional teams in designing and implementing corrective actions, preventative actions, defect reduction strategies, and defect detection tools as required to resolve issues and improve test methods/manufacturing processes.
Provide hands-on support to other research activities within the group, including food and material forensics, materials characterization involving NMR, particle size analysis, CT scan, XRD, moisture absorption, and wet chemistry.
Provide and/or develop cutting edge data analytics such as: predictive modeling, statistics, machine learning, data mining, and other data analysis techniques to collect, explore, and extract insights from structured and unstructured data.
The chosen candidate will be responsible for process development, scale-up, technology transfer, establishing and optimizing commercial manufacturing processes for compounding and filling of solids, soft-chews, non-sterile liquids and sterile inject (aseptic manufacturing) platforms, as well as collaborating and partnering with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality organizations.
The successful candidate will have proven, extensive experience with rheological characterization techniques and applied polymer science. The successful candidate must be able to apply a fundamental understanding of a broad range of analytical techniques to the characterization of adhesives and complex polymers.
The scientist will be expected to develop new concepts, write project proposals, and develop new technologies for future products. This will include understanding customer requirements, translating those into device and product requirements, performing trade studies, writing research and development proposals, project cost estimating, budgeting, and program management.
Youll be working with other Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Hardware Engineers, and Marketing among others to generate value from the data that comes from the millions of devices that we have in the field.
