A Software Development Engineer in Test [SDET] is a developer with the primary responsibility of effective assurance of product quality through test automation, code inspections, peer reviews, white-box testing and other forms of engineering excellence.
In this role, the selected candidate will analyze current regression tests and convert to automated tests; provide analysis of ancillary systems and develop automation solutions to meet the needs of business processes.
Lead lean through the Cottage Grove Film organization by coaching principles and tool usage.Participate on or lead Lean Six Sigma projects that span multiple areas which may include, material flow, lead time improvement, and inventory optimization.
Plans process flow, evaluates process capability, modifies tooling, builds tooling, and designs tooling. Plans, schedules, conducts or coordinates detailed phases of the engineering work in a part of a major project or in a total projects.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for performing all performance development activities for the System Modernization IT portfolio of projects, beginning with the MPSE project including several cross-agency projects with key collaborators.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to drive critical yield improvement, cost savings and quality initiatives in a facility that manufactures state-of-the-art CCD image sensors from starting silicon to finished product.
The Engineer will be responsible for the design, installation and start-up of chemical dispensing & application equipment, CIP (Clean-In-Place) systems and facility cleaning equipment; and will be required to provide accurate and timely customer service assistance on previously installed systems.
Work closely with technical resources to help drive efficiency and develop continuous improvement opportunities and best practices. Teaches and models root cause analysis, problem solving, actions to prevent recurrence, standard work and follow-up.
