The Manufacturing & Process Development Engineer is responsible for providing manufacturing engineering knowledge, skill, and ability to handle such tasks as: project management, manufacturing design, prototyping development, and gathering of pertinent back ground information.
Provide Packaging and Manufacturing Engineering support primarily to the value streams of Solutions Operations through packaging design, line support, continuous improvement, capacity improvements and new product transfers.

The analysis, evaluation, and solution of technical problems encountered in the application of manufacturing methods, facilities, processes, materials and tooling incident to the fabrication and assembly of high technology instruments.
Participates in design, process, and continuous improvement projects that impact limited production or customer functions; works within objectives and timelines, and involves engineering or production personnel as required to complete tasks.
In this role, you will work well with interdisciplinary teams consisting of mechanical, thermal, reliability, safety, manufacturing engineers and others to provide quality designs in compressed time-frames.
This position is responsible for monitoring and improving medical device mechanical heart valve manufacturing lines. This person will understand the product performance and the effects of the manufacturing process on the product. Make use of appropriate quality tools, such as COS, Lean, DOE, SPC, hypothesis testing, and capability studies; to measure, monitor, improve and control the mfg. line and select processes.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide Engineering support to sustain a smooth manufacturing of multiple product lines by applying knowledge of product design, assembly and tool fabrication.
