In this role the Database Administrator will monitor company SQL servers and verify disaster recovery plans. The Database Administrator will also have a key responsibility in guarding against down time with proper design and implementation of configuration, upgrades and patches at the OS and database engine level.
This position requires a service oriented mentality, the other IT team members and other departments are considered customers to whom you will provide solutions to as many of their needs as possible as soon as possible, proactively escalating any issues that cannot be resolved within the established timeframes.
As the SQL Server DBA, you will join their existing team to manage and grow their existing infrastructure. In this role, you would be responsible for managing the latest version of SQL Server in both AWS and Azure environments.
In this role, you will maintain security and integrity controls. Formulates policies, procedures, and standards relating to database management, and monitors transaction activity and utilization. May develop stored procedures and/or triggers.
