Lead a team of electrical engineers in the design of process control systems for hardware and software
Manage electrical portion of overall project schedules; manage budgets for purchased equipment and engineering labor costs.
Integrate low-level driver software with Ford application software. Perform testing of low-level software and Ford application software. Write test plan and develop appropriate test harness. Document test results, identify issues, and develop software updates.
Develop advanced novel hybrid powertrain CAE tools to support development and optimization of next generation hybrid systems, controls, and calibrations that balance performance and fuel economy attributes.
Create and maintain engineering documentation such as bills of material, test process flow, specifications, and other types of engineering documentation including test procedures, and usage manual, or work instruction.
The Interior Lighting Product Design Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and release of all the Electromechanical core lighting components such as interior lights, lighting control modules, overhead consoles, vacuum cleaners, cooled and heated cup holders and bins.
The Fuel Systems Design Release Engineer will be responsible to design, develop and release fuel system components; specifically fuel tanks, fuel tank straps, and fuel pump assemblies to support one or more vehicle lines for all powertrain combinations and brand differentiation requirements.
Manage the engineering discipline in one or more small to medium-sized projects (including negotiating project scope and fees, job production and quality, fee management, collection, and work plan) in coordination with the project manager.
