The Associate General Counsel will have responsibility for several substantive areas, including corporate governance, SEC reporting, and SEC and NYSE compliance, as well as oversight over the Companys strategic intellectual property efforts and substantial involvement business development and commercial activity.
Assist General Counsel and staff with daily activities for the office of General Counsel which includes all typing, maintaining legal files/systems, scheduling meetings, managing complex calendars, timekeeping and any special projects or assignments.
Work closely with business leaders and the companys Strategy and Finance teams on matters of strategic importance to the Company, such as merger & acquisitions, corporate financings and restructuring, and general commercial opportunities.
Research, interpret and provide privileged advice and counsel on the full range of corporate operational, financial, contractual, employment and other legal issues for the Institute. rovide innovative solutions to ongoing business and legal issues. Coordinate and oversee external counsel activities.
