This position requires a self-starter that can work with little or no day-to-day supervision to solve complex abstract problems dealing with weapons implementation planning, system level architectures, and weapons implementation.
Provide integrated engineering support for test planning working groups, test card prep, execution, and post flight reports; participate in test definition, and test planning which will include the test point matrix detailed method of test.
Provide technical direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of all components of complex hardware/software systems to include requirements elicitation, analysis and functional allocation, conducting systems requirements reviews, developing concepts of operation and interface standards, developing system architectures, and performing technical/non-technical assessment and management as well as end-to-end flow analysis.
Designs and implements information assurance and security engineering systems with requirements of business continuity, operations security, cryptography, forensics, regulatory compliance, internal counter-espionage (insider threat detection and mitigation), physical security analysis (including facilities analysis, and security management).
Assists in preparing zero spare analysis reports for new contracts and submits them to their Manager for review prior to the start of a contract; work areas and the general appearance of the office are to be clean, orderly and all systems are to be functional.
The successful candidate is responsible for technology integration of projects and systems that have both life science/chemistry and instrumentation/engineering components. These individuals are members of a team that ensures adequate system level performance for instrumented diagnostic systems through close collaboration with assay development, hardware design, software, and other functional groups.
