The selected candidate will coordinate and facilitate communications with other departments and/or commercial vendor(s) to investigate and resolve software matters of significance and to ensure proper functioning of systems.
The successful candidate will work with a group of scientists and software developers at the Satellite Oceanography and Climatology Division (SOCD) under the NOAA Center for Satellite Applications and Research (STAR). The position is long term, contingent upon performance.

Validates and verifies system society requirements definitions and analysis and establishes system security designs.
