Perform software development as part of a team of 8 (7 developers, 1 SA) in an agile environment with 2 week sprints supporting middle/back tier development and customer outreach, including monthly user group meetings and dev syncs.
Assist in development of the Windows Development and Production Environment (WDPE), which is a project that is mandated to establish standards for development and production support for application systems on a Windows platform.
Primary responsibility includes assistance in migrating DoD data structures for several logistics systems to current DoD standards. Other responsibilities include developing enterprise solutions and deploying solutions as a service across different IT architectures.
Must have at least 3 years of the experience must have been as a software engineer supporting software architecture development, requirement analysis, process execution and evaluation, selection and evaluation of COTS/GOTS tools, and integration (with both new and existing systems).
The Medical Ontology Research (MOR) project requires the services of an experienced programmer to develop and maintain software tools in support of research at the Lister Hill National Center for Biomedical Communications (LHNCBC), National Library of Medicine (NLM).
