Reporting to a Technology Manager who helps to drive the process and leave the details to his team, you will work on the Content Management System that feeds the ProQuest products. You will be directly involved in developing the components that improve efficiency, functionality, and indexing capabiility.
Provide specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade - offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the - shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf ( GOTS ) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.
In this role, you will develop detailed tasks and project plans by analyzing project scope and milestones for complex projects in order to ensure product is delivered in a timely fashion according to software standardizes.
Reviews and recommends highly complex systems investment(s) to management and customers based on results of independent assessment of current and future performance, stability, and systems management/life cycle issues.

This position reports to the Regional Service Manager and is responsible for managing state-of-the-art femtosecond platforms, including planning and coordinating activities concerned with installing equipment, investigating and resolving customer reports of technical problems related to installed equipment, and eliminating future operational or service difficulties.
The ideal candidate would be a "full stack" developer capable of building a web application from the front end all the way through the software stack to the back end data services (i.e. databases or search engines).
The Candidate will need to have broad experience across multiple System Engineering domains with a focus on analytics, understanding as the architecture evolves. The candidate will be responsible for learning existing system capabilities and working to support the design of the new capabilities and enhancements (to include Cloud Migration and Analytics design and development).
Serve as Linux and Windows system administrator. Oversee the operations, administration, maintenance, and provisioning of a variety of hardware platforms and operating systems in support of large research and development efforts.
