As a Systems Engineer you will be responsible for evaluating, developing, and delivering technical input to the systems engineering process, as well as developing technical documentation, system architectures, and system design documentation.

Provide technical expertise in lab-based and analytical R&D efforts to enhance security and inter-operability and to assist the Army with designing, developing, configuring, testing, and evaluating the security of GOTS products and CSfC solutions.
Perform and review technical security assessments of computing environments to identify points of vulnerability, non-compliance with established information assurance (ia) standards and regulations, and recommend mitigation strategies.
Applies system security engineering expertise in one or more of the following to : system security design process; engineering life cycle; information domain; cross domain solutions; commercial off-the-shelf and government off-the-shelf cryptography; identification; authentication; and authorization; system integration; risk management; intrusion detection; contingency planning.
Designs, implements, and maintains the organization's application systems and/or IT infrastructure for complex systems, provides an architectural framework for information system development, maintenance, and enhancement efforts.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for conducting network security architecture reviews to determine the size, and placement of intrusion monitoring equipment during the customer onboarding process.
The candidate will be instrumental in completing efforts at all instances of the product development life cycle to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
In this role, the candidate will provide hands-on cyber security engineering, analysis, and systems integration crossing multiple areas including: cyber situational awareness (SA), firewalls, networking, and IDS/IPS.
Develop and implement proactive IT security measures and practices to protect customer systems from exploit specifically focused on firewalls, external access control points, and vulnerability assessment/mitigation.
The Information Systems Security Engineer shall perform; or review; technical security assessments of computing environments to identify points of vulnerability; non-compliance with established Information Assurance (lA) standards and regulations; and recommend mitigation strategies.
In this role you will utilize vulnerability scan tools, conduct in - depth analysis of the results against Standard Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), develop remediation and mitigation plans, and create packages for the implementation of those plans, generate reports and deliverables directly provided to company customers and the business at large, and participate in IA team initiatives and projects.
