In this role, you will provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of information technology (it) systems. Manages it systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Provides tier 1 (help desk) and tier 2 (escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
In this role, the selected candidate will evaluate/analyze gathered metrics to determine where server/system/network performance is degraded and apply their knowledge of client-server, networking and storage technology to formulate recommended solutions to implement in order to improve/resolve poor system performance.
As a key enabler of this work, it requires the contractor support to install, configure, monitor, upgrade and troubleshoot a wide variety of systems, including Linux servers and desktops, Windows servers and desktops, network infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, and wireless networking infrastructure.
