The IA Engineer reviews weekly security posture of computer system configurations, identify deficiencies, and identify actions needed to correct the deficiencies. This includes regular weekly patches, as well as as-needed efforts.
The Information Systems Security Engineer shall perform; or review; technical security assessments of computing environments to identify points of vulnerability; non-compliance with established Information Assurance (lA) standards and regulations; and recommend mitigation strategies.

Manage and administer all security aspects for multiple programs, including implementing physical, program, facility and information security requirements to ensure compliance with NISPOM, DCIDs, ICDs, federal security regulations and information security requirements.
Provides user application training. Provides day to day client support in understanding business processes. Controls and prioritizes changes to their applications via economic analyses, feasibility studies and negotiation.
This job is responsible for preparing functional specifications and analyses to support client requests. This position may be required to work extended hours, including 24 x 7 coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.
