The DON is also responsible for the Quality Improvement/Risk Management Program for the center and Education Coordinator for the facility, as well.
Assumes some responsibility of the Administrator in his/her absence.
The Director of Nursing for Asbury at Home will be responsible for clinical oversight for Home Health clinicians including RN, LPN, Caregivers, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Therapists (18-20 Staff Members).
Demonstrate a passion for caring as evidenced by interactions with co-workers, residents, families, and visitors. Set and monitor achievement of goals and objectives for the nursing department consistent with established philosophy and standards of practice.
The Director of Ambulatory Nursing is accountable to the Vice-President for Ambulatory Services for ambulatory care service and operational issues and the Senior Vice-President for Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer for nursing practice issues.
