Design and develop logical and physical database designs from customer requirements; provide advice and support to development resources; provide guidance in the creation and modification of standards and procedures.
Diagnose and resolve day-to-day database, network, and firewall issues; collaborate with various teams in developing system hardware layouts, configuring firewall rules, tuning, and load testing of mission-critical Oracle systems.
Assess and work towards a deliberate and sustainable technology and architecture solution; you will be very well versed in document-based and relational performance tuning, data-design, indexing, replication, and distributed I/O patterns and be responsible for leveraging those talents on a regular basis.

Assist in development of the Windows Development and Production Environment (WDPE), which is a project that is mandated to establish standards for development and production support for application systems on a Windows platform.
Develop Conceptual, Logical and Physical data models for the Decennial Census program. Physical data models are only for critical types of data (e.g. respondent data) and will be developed in collaboration with the project team responsible for development of the system.
