Performs a variety of moderately complex hardware engineering activities of an analysis, design, or test nature. Participates on project teams and provides guidance to less experienced engineers and technical staff.
The candidate will be instrumental in completing efforts at all instances of the product development life cycle to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
Provide Engineering support in the field of Electronic Warfare (EW), to include infrared Missile Countermeasures (IRCM) particularly of Man Portable Air Defense (MANPAD) weapons, Hostile Fire Countermeasures (HFCM), integrated Information Operations (IO), Data Collection and Analysis, and Systems Engineering.
Participate in the development, and maintenance of software, databases, pipelines, websites, or other solutions, using appropriate programming languages and tools, to deliver company products and services.
Works closely with senior engineers in researching, developing, and evaluating solutions to unique problem sets. Test and evaluate potential commercial solutions, identify gaps, recommend modifications and changes to address caps, integrate capabilities with legacy and future systems.
The Test Engineer will work as part of a team of Mechanical Engineers, Systems Engineers, Hardware Technicians, and Field Service Technicians, Software Engineers, Systems Administrators, Database Administrators/Architects, Network Engineers and Subject Matter Experts.
The application will be built out using Node.js, MVC, HTML, CSS. This person will be working with a small agile team of developers doing all new development and working directly with the team coverage and much more.
As a Network Applications Engineer you will be responsible for customer support and consulting via telephone, email and in person, software verification testing, sales support, training and technical writing initiatives for Network Systems products.
