The IT Logistics Support Specialist will support the program by managing computer inventory and government property, maintaining software inventory, providing software and hardware purchase quotes, providing SharePoint support and other logistics needs.
The selected individual will provide overall system-level logistics support for a large, complex hardware/software system consisting of multiple geographically distributed nodes and diverse configurations within a multifaceted environment.
Determine overall support requirements for military systems. Obtain and research data required to perform related analysis. Direct and coordinate the development of materials for tracking and status reports.
Requires experience meeting with client representatives to gain insight into customer desires and equipment requirements as well as hands-on experience designing mechanical components based on customer needs.
Provide assistance with master data meetings; master data synchronization and analysis between Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) and Theater Enterprise Worldwide Logistics System (TEWLS) sites; assist with master data initiative / project support under AMLE strategy and Balance Scorecard framework.
Negotiate to ensure terms and conditions address provisions and risks of financial terms, acceptance criteria, delivery requirements, warranty, intellectual property, termination provisions, indemnification, and all other potential risk areas.
