The Branch Manager is responsible for managing and controlling the branch to ensure an efficient and profitable operation to support branch and corporate objectives by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Develop new customer relationships and expand and retain existing relationships by proactively identifying opportunities leveraging the portfolio management process and utilizing the fundamentals of the Bank's sales process to achieve personal sales and/or referral goals.
Serve as a proactive team leader in the M&T Branch system, committed to sales and service. Responsible for directing sales and business development, meeting operational objectives and ensuring the branch achieves its annual goals.
