The Pre-Sales Engineer is responsible for technical pre-sales from initial contact and meetings through to sales conclusion including solution sizing, generation of high-level design documents and Bill of Materials.
In this position, you will provide technical leadership throughout the enterprise sales process. You will serve as a trusted solution and technical advisor during the sales process and provide expertise that ensures successful Smartsheet deployment and adoption.

The selected candidate will be responsible for professionally presenting and demonstrating the most technical aspects of company's software, understanding and defining customer requirements and proposing the best solution for a clients needs.
The Solution Engineer will provide technical pre-sales support to our largest, most strategic new business opportunities. Working closely with Onshapes sales team, the Solution Engineer will lead technical discovery, understand client requirements and workflows, deliver high-impact product demonstrations, and work internally to develop a comprehensive solution for the client.
In this role, you will manage a team of solution architects to increase vertical market knowledge and help them to raise their game in understanding customer workflow, integrated solutions, and customer entrenchment.
The SE will have a high level of emotional intelligence and will work hand-in-hand with IT leadership and other business units to maintain a strategic relationship with the customers through the software development life cycle and during future engagements.
