A Contracts Management Specialist II plays an integral role in the Department. Responsible for making timely decisions based on evidence and on merit, within your appropriate authority level, and take responsibility for the results.
In this role, you will work with commercial and business teams, facilitate corporate processes for contract review and ensure that contracts are concluded in a timely manner and in a process consistent with all corporate requirements.
In this role, the selected candidate will perform more complex analysis in areas such as budgets, strategic plans, product line analysis, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) work and treasury and/or credit functions.
In this role you will gathers, researches, and distributes contract-related information for compilation and communication; prepares communications, summary sheets, quick reference guides, and implementation checklists for payer contracts.
In this role, you will coordinate with other LegalDepartment colleagues as well as Commercial Banking, Risk, Compliance and Operations colleagues as necessary to resolve pertinent issues andescalate for appropriate approvals.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for assisting with other duties and programs such as government bids, distributor relationships, regional and national accounts and large joint ventures.

The government contract specialist will assist in the organization and maintenance of government contracts at the federal, state, and local level including bid/proposal support and cradle-to-grave contract support. The position requires a team player with good written and verbal communication and relationship building skills.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing diversified and complex administrative, financial, and pre and post-award budgetary functions in support of departmental activities, to include both responsibilities for both restricted and unrestricted departmental funds.
