The Sr. Manager Quality and Compliance Improvements role is responsible for the identifying, leading, and managing small, medium, and large projects to correct quality and compliance problems; implement improvements in quality and compliance; and assure continued compliance with evolving quality and compliance requirements.
The CRE focuses on safety and is responsible for construction quality and compliance with design drawings and specifications. The CRE monitors construction progress, notifies the Construction Engineers/Superintendents (CE/S) when internal Quality Control (QC) inspections and independent testing by the on-site laboratory are required, and issues deficiency notices and compiles punch lists.
Support global sites in internal assessments, desk audits, completion of post audit follow-up actions and evaluate common themes in audits and develop programs to proactively address issues across sites in region.
Interact with and influence colleagues in Research division and Research Quality in order to strategically align and facilitate harmonization of quality systems, procedures, and processes where necessary.
This role serves as a vital member of the Compliance team and is appropriate for a detail oriented individual who enjoys working with different departments, including Trading & Operations, Research, Client Service and Retail & Institutional Sales.
Proven ability to design a compliance assessment framework, request and analyze evidence, understand what practices are actually in place through stakeholder interviews, and explain the gaps and remediation options to clients.
Oversees the continuous planning, development and implementation of a secure global divisional security program (infrastructure and controls) designed to protect against all matter of threat to resources and data.
Implement GLP Quality Systems and Compliance processes which support the non-clinical research activities and the Research Quality organization. This role partners with US colleagues to ensure GLP compliance.
Provide support to assist in maintaining an effective compliance oversight program for asset managers and external third party service providers that will continually assess and monitor the effectiveness of their programs to prevent, detect and correct violations of federal securities laws.
