In this role, the selected candidate will configure and manage server Windows operating systems and install/load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity and configure network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
In this role, you will install and support Open Source applications as needed for user support. Use Linux/Windows to support installation and maintain configurations, working with vendors to solve issues, research technical problems and work complex issues.
The Systems Administrator is responsible for installing, maintaining and supporting the enterprise infrastructure and the end user systems. The Systems Administrator is a first responder with regards to support for servers, network infrastructure, and receives escalated tickets in regards to desktops, printers, cameras, handheld computing systems and phones.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems; assist as needed with Tier 1 (Help Desk) and provide mentoring and leadership for Tier 1 staff.
In this role, the selected candidate must have an experience in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of both public licensed and Commercial-off-the-Shelf software tools; excellent user interface / interpersonal / written and verbal communication skills.
In this role you will perform System Administration functions such as user account maintenance, application and OS patches and updates, antivirus updates, security/event log review and analysis, network documentation, backup operations, hardware issue escalation, user training, and user support on Windows systems.
