The Reliability Engineer within an Aseptic and Extended Shelf Life food plant is responsible for creating and driving a culture of reliability. This includes but is not limited to reliability tool and process training development, root cause analysis, unplanned loss elimination, processor technical excellence, project leadership, and maintenance productivity execution. In addition, this person works on improving existing operations as well as deployment of capital for plant and/or innovation activities.
In this role, the selected candidate must have background in programming and strong coding skills (i.e. desire and ability to write quality code); experience supporting Linux systems (Specifically, Ubuntu. Package updates, backup, DB maintenance).
Candidate will be responsible for presenting reliability related analyses to B-2 Program leadership, and the customer at all major program reviews. Lead Candidate will also develop and mentor 3-6 additional Reliability Engineers supporting B-2 Program requirements.
In this role, you will ensure resource requirements are properly planned ahead of time based on business needs and forecasts and that the appropriate teams (finance, operations, lab administrators) are informed accordingly.
In this role, the successful candidate will provide technical resources and methods to teams implementing design for reliability, and manufacturing (example: HALT chamber, robots, test selection, external labs, etc).
In this role, the selected candidate will ensure teams identify and execute key pre-verification characterization testing and review activities necessary for product improvement and robustness enhancement.
