We are looking to hire an Senior Electrical Development Engineer who will contribute to the design of fire control computers and other circuit card assemblies to meet the demands of our weapons platform needs.
In this role, you will participate with the team in conceptualizing new electric turbomachinery solutions and then be responsible for their implementation into CATIA. Experience in building complex models from scratch, including assemblies, is required. Working quickly and accurately is important, as this is a fast-paced development environment.
Sr. Design Assurance Engineerwill be responsible for leading complex projects and activities to assure quality is designed-in to the new product and in the Lifecycle Management. With comprehensive knowledge of engineering and problem-solving principles, he/she will apply good engineering practices that will not only meet regulations and standards but exceed customer satisfaction.
The Sr. Design Developer is tasked with developing the vision of a product through rapid prototyping, an expert UI/UX within the overall context of application development bridging the gap between design and technology.
This person will be the responsible Engineering Authority (REA) for development of one or more complex modules or units and will be expected to apply rigorous and systematic design processes to ensure total design compliance.
Coordinate and interface with internal and external customers to ensure service commitments are met; use engineering tools, various software applications, and databases to assist in creating the engineering documents.
The successful candidate will have ownership of assigned Mechanical products and lead the necessary response to technical issues that are affecting the production of hardware in the Operations Centers and at the company suppliers as well as evaluation and resolution of products that are returned for cause from the OEM customers' assembly areas.
This is a senior level position in the Mechanical Analysis, Materials and Test Equipment Department (MAMTED), Document Check Section Examines engineering drawings and related documents for soundness, efficiency, and simplicity in design; completeness, clarity, and dimensional accuracy.
