Provide daily legal advice on issues such as leaves of absence, workplace accommodations, terminations, workforce restructuring actives, investigations, discipline, wage and hour, workplace safety regulations (OSHA), and related matters.
The Senior Counsel will develop, implement and execute a market access strategy for Amgens biosimilar molecules, including freedom-to-operate analyses for drug substance, drug product, formulations, processes and labeled indications.
Drafting and negotiating deals and agreements in all areas of content development and production, including services agreements for producers, writers, directors and actors, option/first look agreements, rights/purchase agreements, distribution agreements, production services agreements, and other development and production-related agreements.
The Senior Counsel will be responsible for advising Amgens commercial operations on a wide variety of issues concerning the sale, and promotion of biopharmaceutical products in the United States as well as activities with the healthcare community conducted by Amgens scientific affairs organization.

This position is responsible for providing business partners with strategic legal advice and counsel in all areas of law, to further the interests of the business while protecting the companys rights, interests and reputation.
In this role, the selected candidate will maintain excellent relationships, work collaboratively and engage in regular communication with the GC, other AGCs, the Legal Departments other attorneys, paralegals, executive coordinators and other non-attorney staff.
Working in partnership with outside counsel and other in-house attorneys and staff, the Senior Counsel will develop and drive case strategies as an active team member, including all infringement, validity, and enforceability positions, and as needed, freedom to operate analysis.
This Senior Counsel will have direct involvement and shared responsibility in all aspects of U.S. and international patent disputes, in both judicial and administrative tribunals, from initial issue identification through resolution.
