In this role, you will be responsible to define, develop and run tools and analyses focused on inventory (including excess and obsolescence), sales, inventory and operations planning (siop), service level, backorder, demand planning, capacity planning, master scheduling and ad hoc analyses and reporting.
This person will be responsible for working with product development engineers to ensure that new products can be readily built with good quality and cost, preferably using existing processes and equipment in-house and at our suppliers.
In this role, you will manage purchase order progress, including working with suppliers and other supporting departments ( e.g., quality, microbiology, engineering ) to ensure production plans are met.
Responsible for planning, placing, and maintaining purchase orders, managing inventory levels while also staying within a given financial spending plan, expediting material when necessary, sourcing of suppliers, and reporting on given metrics.
In this role, you will analyzes standard contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements.
In this role, you will be responsible for and directs all phases of the subcontract from initiation of the business case for make or buy decisions through requests for proposals, subcontract management plans, negotiation strategy, and cost accountability.
