In this role, the successful candidate will be working with and directing engineering staff in the design of new ground-based and airborne microwave and millimeter-wave up converters, downconverters and amplifiers.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for multiple aspects of RF engineering support, RF troubleshooting and optimization, interference analysis, hardware and software defects, and drive testing. Beyond the site optimization work, the candidate will also be responsible for maximum permissible exposure compliance work throughout the LA market.
The optimization engineer quantifies the effects of the optimization on the KPIs and customer perception of our network. Finally, the optimization engineer reports on the analysis of his assigned geographical area of responsibility to the leadership and collaborates heavily with peers to achieve a continued state of optimization efficiency within our team.
In this position, you will require routine engagement with his/her customer counterparts, as well as with multiple functions internal to Raytheon.As the ACT customer environment is extremely complex and dynamic, the desired PCE must be able to adapt quickly in deriving strategy and compliant solutions for program issues that may arise.
In this role, you will be responsible for the full product realization cycle including design, production, test, and documentation. Application and manufacturing engineering may also be required to bring your designs to market.
In this role, the selected candidate must have an experience with mixed-signal circuit design and layout including RF, analog, linearizers, and control circuitry employing embedded microcontrollers and/or DSPs.
In this role, the selected candidate will perform research and development efforts related to electromagnetic/RF components, antennas, radomes, support structures, flight qualified hardware, RCS/RF test intergration, and will provide support for other classified activities.
