This position will provide technical support to the Engineering Department for the Riverside facility and global suppliers for the purpose of development of processes, and/or material data base qualifications.
The individual will need to have strong initiative, ownership, act with urgency, and communicate effectively (both oral and written) with all internal members of the overall team and external customers.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring personal and company compliance with all Federal, State, local and company regulations, policies and procedures for Health, Safety and Environmental compliance.
Responsible for execution of process improvement projects to support business needs of the plant. Work with Plant Engineers to learn CAPEX process and develop solid capital plans for viability and cost return projects.
Analyzes, researches, designs and develops materials and their related fabrication and application processes to develop and optimize materials for use in engineering design of and/or application in structures, systems and subsystems. Applies principles of chemistry, physics, and material behavior to develop metallic, non-metallic and composite material and processing specifications, fabrication and assembly processes.
In this role, you will be providing technical input in the selection, specification, test, screening, qualification, application, and root cause failure analysis of electronic parts, materials, and processes (PM&P).
In this role, you will interacts with site and corporate functions to assess the scientific, regulatory, and business impact of process improvement initiatives. Assists in the management and implementation of approved process improvement projects at the IMF.
In this role, you will support PLC/HMI, stand-alone controller and relay based control systems for various equipment such as blast freezer, COP skids, plasma bottles and bags conveying and handling machines.
In this role, you will analyze, research, design and develop materials and their related fabrication and application processes to develop and optimize materials for use in engineering design of and/or application in structures, systems and subsystems.
