The role focuses on directly supporting the R&O business to ensure improvements in customer service, safety, quality, cost and turnaround time. Provide engineering support to the Repair & Overhaul business relating to rotating equipment (i.e. Turbo-Machinery, Compressors and Cooling Turbines), air-conditioning, heat exchanger and actuator aircraft components. Assurance of correct implementation of statutory procedures laid down by airworthiness authorities such as FAA, EASA and CAAC.
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for converting engineered product design(s) to production. This includes the ability to perform manufacturing engineering functions to best suit, fit, and benefit the companys production model. The position also includes hands-on coordination/support between other internal departments and external customer and supplier efforts as required.

In this role, you will assure compatibility of engineering drawings and specifications with manufacturing and fabrication capabilities by reviewing drawings and making suggestions for changes and revisions to enhance producibility.
The candidate must have a thorough understanding of manufacturing process and procedures including fabrication, assembly and coatings in several disciplines including composites, metallics, machining, bonded assemblies, and installations.
