Monitors process effectiveness and efficiency against goals and objectives, taking corrective action as necessary; proactively identifies, implements, and drives continuous process improvements, simplification and change.
The role will provide financial and analytical support to Operations and Finance leadership in support of Company's worldwide Cost of Sales. Key areas of focus include analyzing and presenting financial impact (i.e. Cost of sales, Inventory, COGM, Gross Expenses, DIO) on the Cost of Sales on a Regional and Country perspective , partnerships, acquisitions, in-licensing/out-licensing, manufacturing network changes, assisting with Company's manufacturing tax strategy, etc.
Demonstrates proven extensive abilities and success with developing strategy; as well as leveraging PC applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project to write, communicate, facilitate, and present cogently; to and/or for all levels of industry audiences, clients and internal staff and management, including development and delivery of business proposals, conferences and whitepapers.
Interface directly with facility management to build up annual budgets and quarterly forecasts; present detailed plans to divisional management; work closely with management and production to understand the project pipeline of shows (including the regular review of cost-to-complete schedules with production personnel.)
Supporting the quarter end close processes for and play a key role in preparation of materials and disclosure pertaining to Amgens product sales performance for quarterly external investor earnings calls. This includes drafting portions of Amgens earnings releases and quarterly SEC filings.
The Manager, Finance & Planning will work closely with the Director, Finance & Planning to help guide company's executives by providing high-quality, accurate, and timely financial information to be used in the strategic decision making process.
