In this role, the selected candidate will develop and improve aluminum joining methods, including fusion welding, Friction Stir Welding (FSW), and EMPT; develop and improve protocols for the use of adhesives and mechanical fasteners in aluminum joining.
The selected candidate will be responsible for development of tooling and equipment designs from engineering hardware specifications and culminating in complete technical data packages fully defining the tooling / equipment and allowing fabrication of detailed components and assembly of the end item.
In this role, the selected candidate must have the ability to interpret Drawings, Specifications, and Contracts that will enable development and review of QE Processes, and related Performance Metrics; effective interpersonal skills, including Team building and Collaboration.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for identifying cost factors, such as time, materials and expenses. Prepares cost estimate for tooling dies jigs and fixtures being manufactured.
