The Manufacturing Engineer will plan, direct, coordinate and implement manufacturing processes, work cell layouts in regards to New Model (pre-production) product development and Mass Production launch.

This role includes many of the traditional IE functions as in: time and motion studies, manufacturing work content analysis, line balancing, and true capacity analysis.
The Manufacturing Engineer will develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, packaging, fabrication processes and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods and quality control standards.
This Mechanical Engineer must be proficient with SolidWorks 3-D CAD design and have past work related experience designing heavy equipment (hydraulics, pneumatics, chain driven gears, and large scale mechanical power transmission).
In this role, the selected candidate will be utilizing data and data collection systems, and Six Sigma methods for problem-solving and decision-making to eliminate manufacturing losses and unnecessary costs.
In this role, you will support manufacturing with launch and continuous improvement activities.Develop and maintain PFMEAs for new and advanced technologies implemented throughout the North American facilities.
In this role, the selected candidate will evaluate for reporting criteria to Government Agencies to determine if the event reasonably suggests a device may have or could have caused or contributed to a death or serious injury.
