In this role, the selected candidate partners with the Executive Director on recruiting, hiring, new hire orientation, training and in-services for the Resident Care Partners, Medication Assistants, LPNs and Lead Resident Care Partners.
The Nurse Manager also provides planning, coordination, implementation of new telehealth programs and provides oversight for existing programs. This position requires administrative activities and coordination with various departments within the UC system and external partner hospitals.

In this role, you will provide coaching, direction, and supervision of the unit/area and all staff members with 24-hour accountability for operations. Recruits, develops, counsels, evaluates and retains staff within appropriate HR policies and guidelines.
In this role, the selected candidate will review and evaluate existing policies and procedures on a timely basis; direct revision of same when appropriate and presents to Governing Body at annual meeting for approval.
The Perioperative Nurse Manager is responsible for providing overall leadership, direction, strategic planning, staffing and coordination for the assigned clinical areas within Perioperative Services including; Preop, Operating Room, PACU, and Sterile Processing and Distribution.
