This position is responsible for technical support for complex Data and Voice services, for business customers, supported out of the operations center. This operational position requires the Engineer to speak directly to internal and external customers about a wide variety of technical issues/requests.
Must have 5+ years of expertise in implementing, administering, and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices, including: firewalls, routers, switches, load balancers, wireless access points and controllers.
Provide technical support, assists in the design, deployment, and maintenance of all enterprise systems. May lead small to medium sized projects independently. Tests and evaluates technical infrastructure to eliminate problems and make improvements.
Define long term plans for the completion of moderately complex projects by factoring in dependencies and constraints; recommend and implements enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system.

The Network Engineer will support LAN functions by providing skills and expertise in telecom engineering and operational support of current and new technologies to the Local Area Network. Must have experience in telecommunications network design and management.
Designs, specifies, configures, and installs, LAN and WAN hardware, software, and telecommunications services such as routers, bridges, switches, modems, cabling, Internet service providers, long distance, and MPLS services.
In this role, you will be responsible for writing hardware and software specifications, performing confirmation testing on the actual car or simulator, troubleshooting and fixing related problems, writing and presenting reports, working with component suppliers and other departments to resolve technical issues, researching new technologies and market trends, and marking proposals for future products.
