The Tool and Process Engineer is responsible for planning, and maintaining stable and capable production/business processes as they pertain to equipment, facilities and tooling functionality following the WCM model.
In this role, you will be responsible to participate in the planning of personnel safety and protection activities consistent with osha/iosha and regulatory agency standards and guidelines and ensure all reporting associates are trained and comply.
In this role, the selected candidate will work with clients and manufacturing floor involved with thin material medical products such as condoms, medical balloons, balloon catheter, etc. involving extrusion, dip molding and other thin film fabrication techniques using plastic, silicone and rubber materials.
In this role, you will be responsible for analyzes and designs new products with the ability to mitigate the effects of thermal, mechanical stresses and vibration present in the customer's applications through innovative design approaches.
Ensure equipment is performing effectively & efficiently, analyzing equipment operating data when available Create & maintain process documentation, setup spare parts for production equipment Train personnel on current & new processes/equipment.
Coordinate with National Operations and assure there is a preventative plan in place which may include filter changes, unit lubrication, belt tension checks and replacement for all mall HVAC units affected. (May include tenant units where applicable.)
The Process Engineer is responsible for improving processes of Primary Operations; the incumbent will also be required to prepare, review and update processes and work practices to improve electric arc furnace processing, melting and casting processes, quality, yield and productivity, and reduce costs.
Management responsibilities include supervision of design and drafting staff, coordination with clients and associates, and organization of design and construction administration activities to meet established schedules and budgets.
Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
The Project Engineer will work as part of a team to develop new and innovative automotive refinish spray equipment. Key responsibilities of this position include researching, designing and developing, testing and documentation of new products.
