In this role, the selected candidate will provide day-to-day consultation and guidance to agency executives and local office staff regarding human resources functions/issues (e.g. employee relations, family medical leave, disability and workers compensation, performance management, policy and procedures).
In this role, you will resolve general Associate Relations issue including conducting employee relations investigations and fact finding; administer company's correction action process in partnership with DC HR Mgr; assist with unemployment claim information and unemployment hearings.
In this role, you will be responsible for full life-cycle recruiting: recruiting, screening and recommending placement of staff by using creative sourcing methods (internal and external).Implement and improve HR systems and programs.
The HR Generalist will have the primary responsibility of performing HR related duties on a professional level and work closely with the Corporate HR team. This position carries out the responsibilities in the following areas: recruiting, performance management, learning & development, employee relations, on-boarding, policy implementation and HR administrative work. Also responsible to manage vendor relationships with background checking agency, job posting boards, and outside recruiters.
The selected candidate will assist the business with strategic workforce planning, and collaborate with corporate Talent Acquisition to recruit and select a qualified and diverse talent pool; support the preparation of new employee hiring and on-boarding paperwork.
