In this role, you will responsible for developing innovative process design concepts and identifying ideal solutions to unique technical challenges posed by large structural molding of products such as: Structural Components; Aircraft Wings; Fuselage Parts; Boat Hulls; Wind Blades; Truck Cabs, etc.
In this role, you will design and analysis of plate, precast or steel bridge structures, developing estimates and schedules, conceptual project development, planning and directing the work of detailers and designers.
In this role, the selected candidate will develop and improve aluminum joining methods, including fusion welding, Friction Stir Welding (FSW), and EMPT; develop and improve protocols for the use of adhesives and mechanical fasteners in aluminum joining.
The positions primary focus will be executing projects involving the engineering design and development of real-time control system software and automated test equipment software used to develop and certify aircraft engine control systems.
The selected candidate will be responsible for design, development and implementation of automated machine, tooling and fixtures. Interact with internal customers to provide mechanical design support for their equipment needs.
In this role, the selected candidate will work with program managers and customers to fully understand molded part design requirements, and integrate these requirements in to mold design; leverage Modeling and Simulation studies, run by other experts, to improve and optimize mold designs for productivity and longevity.
The selected candidate will be responsible for service request fulfillment design, development and implementation lifecycle of standard service requests tied to the delivery of infrastructure services specific to the respective infrastructure technology platform.
The selected candidate will work effectively on technical projects and delivering engineering solutions resources to address equipment and operational issues that affect throughput. Individuals must have demonstrated ability to lead engineering work process for initiatives.
In this position, you will develop mold design concepts consistent with SPI 101/401 class injection molds, where molds will typically run in very high productivity operations for extended tool life [exceeding 5 million cycles].
In this role, you will design and analysis of central systems (steam, condensate, water treatment, chilled water, compressed air, any fluid, treated water, fuel and cogeneration or preferably combined heat and power) and related equipment and controls.
