The Supply Chain Engineering Manager will be responsible for analysis and utilization of continuous improvement methodology to lead the design of complex Supply Chain Solutions for current and future operations.
Sources and maintains inventories of commodity products with specific responsibility to source materials for company; product lines could include, but are not limited, to Capsicum, Annatto, Black Pepper, and other products as needed.
The Purchasing Senior Manager has the responsibility for leading the development and execution of long term, comprehensive and cross-functional commodity strategies that will yield measurable improvements in the areas of technology, innovation, vehicle performance, delivery and cost performance.
This role will help develop, implement and direct improvement areas in each plant with planning and scheduling, inventory dollars (working capital), inventory accuracy improvements, packaging and labeling standardization and conformance, ASNs and EDI with suppliers, logistics, and to use the ERP/MRP knowledge that has been acquired during your career to drive overall improvements throughout the entire supply chain.
Manage commercial relationships with Big Box and Online Retailers with significant logistical operations; eEvaluate new prospects (Engineering, Procurement and Construction Firms) for partnering opportunities.
Lead the NA supply chain logistics activity in the design and standardization of supply chain systems and processes in regards to how the company will acquire and deliver materials to internal processes and external customers.
