In this role, the selected candidate tests, develops, and validates mechanical, electromechanical brake components and electronic control modules of both new and existing brake designs; brake designs include hydraulic, primarily opposed piston calipers, mechanical and electromechanical service and parking brakes.
The Senior Test Engineer is responsible facilitating interactions between the manufacturing test team and the product design and test developers. The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert on manufacturing test and software installation and provide support for the manufacturing team.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing bench and in - vehicle test plans to verify the quality of embedded software deliverables as well as tune and optimize the performance of various speech technology components.
In this role, you will initiate and fosters team wide activities in learning and adopting new and relevant state of the art technologies for automotive infotainment, consumer electronics, embedded systems, software testing, and test tools.
In this role, the selected candidate will create profiling, test scripts, test plan, executing, trouble shooting and performance tuning; analyze test results and call out any discrepancies against the SLA's.
