The Registered Nurse is a collaborative member/leader of the care team and is accountable for practicing both the art and science of nursing, delivering care as prescribed by the American Nurses Association (ANA) Standards of Practice and Professional Performance.
The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction. He/she operates within the scope of practice defined by the State Nurse Practice Act and delegates aspects of patient care to LPNs and Caregivers/Aides, consistent with their scope of practice.
Provide hands-on care, management and evaluation of the care plan and teaching of the patient in accordance with physician orders, under Clinical Manager's supervision. Revise plan in consultation with physician based on ongoing assessments and as required by policy/regulation.
The RN role will perform nursing duties such as patient assessments, medication delivery, case management, lab evaluations, leadership and team building. Working with peers such as Patient Care Technicians, Social Worker, Dietitians, Physicians and other clinical staff.
Manages a multi-disciplinary staff responsible for providing Psychiatric Social Work and Utilization Review services to Mental Health patients, and performs therapeutic services. Performs related duties as required.
As a Staff Registered Nurse (Hemodialysis RN) you see your patients three to four times each week for a few hours at a time; while they receive their treatments. The dialysis lifestyle can be very trying for our patients. By forming relationships with them, our nurses understand each patient's unique needs and help ease some of their burden.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivery of patient care and teaching through nursing process. The Registered Nurse directs and guides activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing, and the established polices and procedures of the organization.
The RN UNIT REGISTERED NURSE delivers quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact and provides care and services to allow patients to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
