The Logistics Manager will develop and define the global logistics and packaging strategies for all of North American operations and maintain those strategies for all plants and office locations. They will be responsible for tracking and monitoring day to day inbound and outbound shipments as needed. The Logistics Manager will plan, develop and implement global logistics agreements and drive all transitions through to completion.
The incumbent will work with CI and Procurement leadership to ensure Projects/goals are appropriately prioritized and Lean Six Sigma tools and approach are accepted and ingrained into Group strategy planning to achieve Group goals. This position will work with site employees towards a mutual understanding and acceptance of the process.
This role will help develop, implement and direct improvement areas in each plant with planning and scheduling, inventory dollars (working capital), inventory accuracy improvements, packaging and labeling standardization and conformance, ASNs and EDI with suppliers, logistics, and to use the ERP/MRP knowledge that has been acquired during your career to drive overall improvements throughout the entire supply chain.
In this role, the selected candidate will develop tools and processes designed to support demand, capacity, and supply planning, inventory modeling, service and revenue forecasting; implement robust set of KPIs designed to drive the process across NARP organization, including forecast accuracy relative to sales vs. plan, capacity utilization, and other indicators to support alignment across the broader organization.
In this role, the selected candidate will work with your team, cross functional partners and service providers to deliver breakthrough results in both service levels and cost; this includes driving continuous improvement initiatives, P4G targets and financial controls.
Work with engineering, commodity managers, supplier development engineers, program managers, to ensure supplier performance and deliverables are met and to identify cost and timing issues and resolve them.
Lead the NA supply chain logistics activity in the design and standardization of supply chain systems and processes in regards to how the company will acquire and deliver materials to internal processes and external customers.
