The Materials & Production Scheduling Manager is responsible for leading the implementation and execution of the Kraft Heinz Materials/Scheduling Program throughout the manufacturing plant. This position is the technical liaison between the plant, Headquarters, and third party vendors (where applicable).
The Plant Materials Manager manages all material functions for the flow of materials, from supplier through production to customer, ensuring maximum customer service, minimum inventory investment, minimum transportation costs and efficient plant operations.
In this role, you will plan, organize and carry out purchasing program to ensure quality materials, parts, sub-assemblies and components are obtained at the lowest prices with expeditious delivery, and best possible terms and maintains updated lists of suppliers.
In this role, the selected candidate will implement the IAC SCM BASIACs; understand the gaps and implement a continuous improvement plan with defined actions, responsibilities and delivery dates that are clearly understood by the team.
In this role, the selected candidate will recommend and assist in the implementation of unit goals and objectives; establishes schedules and methods for assigned parts operations; and implements policies and procedures.
