The Process Engineer is responsible for improving processes of Primary Operations; the incumbent will also be required to prepare, review and update processes and work practices to improve electric arc furnace processing, melting and casting processes, quality, yield and productivity, and reduce costs.
In this role, the selected candidate will develop computer vision software for fixed point DSPs based on PC algorithms written in C/C++; develop serial communication software ( SPI, I2C, CAN etc. ) for DSPs and micro-controllers.
In this position, you will provide support for the management team by providing manufacturing engineering technical expertise and working collaboratively on manufacturing processes. Participates in continuous improvement/cost reduction events as a team leader.
Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
As an Automation and Process Innovation Engineer, Candidate work within small cross-functional and multidisciplinary innovation teams to develop new processes realized using automation technology. Consultant will develop and prove out system concepts, then work collaboratively to realize the systems potentials.
In this role, the selected candidate must have an experience with Software and Systems engineering development process; ability to lead and mentor teams through complex issues and formal design reviews.
Direct more complex group projects - identify, propose and champion creative and constructive solutions articulating the business value created. Monitor and communicate progress on all projects to successfully deliver project scope, timeline and budget objectives.
Management responsibilities include supervision of design and drafting staff, coordination with clients and associates, and organization of design and construction administration activities to meet established schedules and budgets.
