Responsibilities will include coordinating tests with vehicle engineering, technical correlation of the data acquisition from the test system with the engineer DVP&R, and reporting test progress and final results.
The candidate will be expected to use existing systems, make necessary improvements to upgrade existing installations, and will help develop the next generation software in coordination with regional teams.
Ability to travel Internationally and Domestically to support and lead the commissioning and service of control systems for highly automated turnkey projects ranging from Pharma Cleanroom Biological Processing Facilities to High Throughput Testing Facilities.
The Hybrid Battery Management Control Systems Verification Engineer will work with cell and battery pack level testing equipment to verify battery management system (BMS) hardware and software for use in electrified powertrains.
Development of commissioning specifications and testing requirements; Site inspections and equipment installation conformance oversight; Operation and maintenance documentation and project deliverables; Client technical support and training; and System software configuration, setup and demonstration.
Control panel concept and design based on line up information from the Mechanical Engineer; coordinate with other Project Engineers regarding schedule, design concepts and other status information on areas of concern.
In this role, the selected candidate must have one or more years of progressive Electrical or PLC Controls engineering related experience; proven experience in a manufacturing environment, providing troubleshooting and support for production needs.
