As a Data / BI Engineer you will develop, configure and deliver scalable and extensible data and Bi platforms which enable collection, storage, modeling, and analysis of massive data sets from numerous channels.
Provide business user support. Troubleshoot production problems / functional issues with data visualization & discovery tools Implement process improvements (Automation, Performance tuning, Optimize workflows) Collaborate with business and IT partners such as Infrastructure team, Vendor team, internal teams and offshore team Work with offshore team.
Develop and implement enterprise-scale reports and dashboards in a Cognos environment.Excellent interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills are required to support working in agile environments that includes internal, external and customer teams.
Act as a model to the team in the areas of leaving a good first impression, building relationships, achieving win-win outcomes, self-motivation, positive attitude, integrity, prioritization, adaptability, stress management, and time management.
Work with users to gather requirements, translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reports and dashboards, created from potentially multiple data sources.
