The rn unit registered nurse delivers quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact and provides care and services to allow patients to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and life care standards.

The RN Care Team Coordinator is a registered professional nurse who functions under the direction of the Nursing Service Director or Department Manager and is responsible for using independent judgment in coordinating and assigning the overall functions and activities of a nursing department/unit on a designated shift to assure successful safe delivery of age appropriate and culturally aware patient care.
The Registered Nurse is also responsible for supervising and responsibly directing the activities of various levels of assigned nursing and ancillary personnel utilizing both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment, while practicing within the State, facility and regulatory guidelines.
The RN UNIT CARE COORDINATOR is responsible for supervising, implementing, coordinating, and managing patient care through interpersonal contact with patients, families, nursing staff, and others on his/her respective unit in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
