Responsible for developing control strategies for manufacturing processes throughout the value stream. Primary improvement focus efforts will span safety, quality, delivery, inventory and productivity alike.
Build test automation and tools for validating our applications.Develop specific test cases and test code for validating our applications.Analyze test results to ensure that application features meet requirements.
This person will provide design engineering for small design projects (under $25,000) or part of a larger more complex project.She/He will be also providing designs for automation systems including a list of quantities and types of materials used.
Use advanced characterization techniques such as synchrotron X-Ray diffraction, neutron diffraction, and atom probe tomography to characterize phase transformations occurring during additive manufacturing of structural materials
Work with other technical groups including information systems, data reduction and data analysis software developers; collaborate with software developers at other international facilities and from the scientific user community.
