In this role, the selected candidate will design and deploy Datacenter networks utilizing industry best practices and Cisco hardware to include: Cisco enterprise level L3 switching and Nexus 9K/7K/5K/2K platforms leveraging VXLAN with MP-BGP EVPN control plane.
The selected candidate will review the results from auditing of applications, operating systems and networks to provide a measurable technical assessment that includes interviewing staff personnel, performing security vulnerability scans, reviewing access controls or analyzing physical access to ensure availability, confidentiality and integrity to help the organization meet internal and external regulatory compliance.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide installation, maintenance and ongoing support of a diverse, high availability Cisco network ; help determine hardware and software needs for the network, devices and the organization .
The I.S. Security Engineer must have a basic understanding of design, implementation and operational experience with security technologies that includes, but is not limited to, IDS/IPS, Firewalls, Log Analysis, SIEM, Network Behavior Analysis tools, Antivirus, Identity Management and governance technologies, SSO and Federation technologies, RBAC and fine grained access control strategies, web application authentication processes, Network Packet Analyzers and basic malware analysis.
