The Software Development Engineer will empower health system solutions by designing and developing (programming) software solutions that will improve care, eliminate waste, or enhance the patient experience.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to current and emerging R&D efforts in support of safeguards and security missions. Specifically the candidate will be expected to contribute to software development for both internal and external applications ranging in scale from multi-year desktop application development to small scientific simulation or concept demonstration tasks supporting research efforts.
This person will provide design engineering for small design projects (under $25,000) or part of a larger more complex project.She/He will be also providing designs for automation systems including a list of quantities and types of materials used.

In this role, the selected candidate must have a strong logical & analytical skills; ability to write object oriented software applications; ability to understand and create UI, Business, Data and SQL backend layers.
The primary focus will be development of iOS applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure.
This person will have experience working with an application from the operating system through coding from backend to front, adding technical specs and architecture to the team's plain English specs for new modules and website features.
In this role, you will participate in semi-complex design, maintenance, enhancement, testing, implementation, and support of software. Supports the development of software test requirements for semi-complex modules under development, may execute semi-complex test specifications.
In this role, the selected candidate will develop and maintains documentation describing the design of the KBase UI/UX model. These must cover the overall architecture as well as usage information for those developing or integrating tools into KBase.
